Googly Ghouls...

I have riffled through the box of goodies that was delivered and my 4 year old son enjoyed helping. He was very excited as I was by the Googly Ghouls Bundle that I ordered, so we cracked it open to have a play!

I have stamped for many years and it is really easy, theraputic and something that can be done with children - my 5 have always enjoyed it, but under supervision as many of the inks (like Staz On) will stamp and stay on almost any surface!

I love the fun nature of this set of stamps, and the bundle includes the designer kit which make creativity very, very simple. My sons have made these today... yes they are that easy!

Materials Used:
101406 Black Staz On ink pad
108601 Pumpkin Pie (orange) cardstock
126914 Googly Ghouls Designer Kit
129852 [wood] or 129883 [clear] Googly Ghouls Stamps
108362 Crop-A-Dile  (just been moved on to retirement list - 25% off NOW £17.96)
104430 Stampin' Dimensions (foam dots)

I purchased the designer kit and stamps as a bundle and made extra savings! In the kit are pre-printed background tags that are also die-cut, a sheet of googly eyes (about 60ish!), twine pre-cut to length and gift bags (10).

It really as as simple as ink up the stamp, stamp on to the pre-printed tags and stick on the googly eyes. Punch holes in the bag and tie on the tag (once you have filled it with goodies).

I got a little more creative with the spider tag stamping the sentiment on to the Pumpkin Pie cardstock, trimming it and sticking on with the pop dots.

These goodie bags would make the perfect treat for party, trunk & treat, school class gifts or just for the kiddies that come to your door. My boys love them, and can't wait till Halloween now!

As there are 20 tags, and only 10 bags you could use other small plastic bags or similar to use up the embellishments. The bags can also be run through the Big Shot with the textured impressions embossing folders.

All these items are available to order NOW!

We also had a play with some of the beautiful Halloween papers that arrived, and I am excited to show you some projects using those over the next few days, however, we did make these cute favours using some left overs!

Materials Used:
Spare googly eyes from Googly Ghouls Designer Kit
Stamps from Googly Ghouls Stamp Set
Scraps from (126906) Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper
Backing card from the designer paper for the labels
119849 Modern Label Punch
104294 Sticky Stip Double Sided Glue
Sweeties (Fruit Pastilles and Rolo's)

Whilst creating other projects we ended up with various bits and bobs left over and decided to use them to cover these packs of sweeties. I wrapped a piece of paper around the sweets, then wrapped a co-ordinating strip around. Stamped and punched the label and added googly eyes! These would look great on any Halloween table or in your trick-or-treaters basket!

All these items are available NOW!

Happy Stamping!
