A little bit about me!
My name is Michelle Grant, I am a stay-at-home mum of 5 amazing kids (who are growing up far too fast!). I am lucky enough to be married to my very best friend, we have been married 17 years.
We all live in North Cheshire and share our home with 2 cats (salt & pepper) and a crazy Chocolate Labrador (Martha).
I have been creative all of my life, and much of it I have to accredit to my Mum. One of my first jobs was working for her Art's & Crafts business. I was taught to sew by my Great Grandmother who had been a seamstress and went on to make my Wedding Dress, Bridesmaids Dresses and through the skills I have been taught even did my own flowers and invites!
I started to 'work' in the Art's and Craft's sector in the UK back in 2003 just after my 4th child was born. I launched (from my kitchen table) the first Scrapbooking Magazine in the UK, and then went on to be a co-founder of Practical Publishing International Ltd. After a few years there I moved on to become a free lancer and have worked as a consultant in the UK, Europe and USA.
This has given me opportunities to teach and demonstrate to hundreds, possibly thousands of crafters. I am also blessed to be able to call many of the 'celebrities' in the industry my friends.
I had the opportunity in 2004 to attend Ranger University, and I am a Ranger Certified Instructor.
After taking some time out of the industry to have another baby and to work in other areas of media I realised the my heart really does lie in crafts. So, I decided that Stampin' Up! gave me the chance to couple together all the things I love - papercrafts, teaching, instructing, demonstrating, running my own business and most of all fitting it around my much loved family!
